Okavango Delta – VR experience

The Okavango Delta VR experience, also known as “Monate Wa Botswana,” is a virtual 360º video that allows you to experience the beauty of this world heritage site. The project was a collaboration between Infinity VR and VR Capture, and the crew worked tirelessly in challenging environments to capture breathtaking images for everyone to enjoy.

The VR experience takes you on an unforgettable journey through the Delta, allowing you to take a chopper ride, mokoro ride, and boat cruise. The chopper ride provides a bird’s eye view of the Delta’s lush green vegetation and winding waterways. The mokoro ride is a traditional way to navigate through the shallow waters, allowing you to see animals such as water buffalo, antelopes, and many species of birds up close. The boat cruise at sunset is a perfect way to experience the Delta’s beauty, with animals such as crocodiles, hippos, and elephants in the background.

One of the highlights of the Okavango Delta VR experience is the close elephant encounters. These gentle giants are a common sight in the Delta, and the VR experience makes you feel like you are standing right next to them, watching them graze and play in their natural habitat.

The Okavango Delta VR experience was taken to Dubai for an international trade show and was a great hit for our clients stand. It continues to add value to them as they still use the VR experience today.

In conclusion, the Okavango Delta VR experience is an excellent way to experience the beauty of this world heritage site. It captures the stunning helicopter ride, close elephant encounters, luxury accommodation, and more. The collaboration between Infinity VR and VR Capture brought the Delta to life, allowing people to experience it in ways they never thought possible.
